Dust and Denim is a watercolor piece created shortly after completing my undergraduate studies in marketing. After an intense final semester, I returned to painting in search of a creative outlet and became quickly drawn to this subject matter.

What began as an experiment evolved into my first full watercolor portrait. The process demanded time, patience, and physical closeness to the work — marking an early moment of commitment to watercolor as both a medium and a practice.
