Custom piece created for a client’s vacation home. Rather than focusing on hyper-detailed realism, this work explores a looser language of expressive marks and atmospheric texture. A soft pastel background creates the landscape, while charcoal elements introduce movement, contrast, and quiet depth. Within the composition, two ducks glide across a lake as the subtle subject — present, but not overly defined.
